Vegetarian-isms
This series of illustrations began as a way to decompress during the day when I needed a break from my graphic design projects. I was never one to say I could draw or paint, the commitment to put pencil on paper was something that used to scare me; it still does.
At the time I had a few ongoing projects that required illustrations and I had picked up Procreate to try and see if I was able to deliver illustartion to a certain standard. In this process I learned that the commitment required to put pencil on paper was not required for Procreate, thats what really caught my attention. If I messed up, I didn’t need to start over, I could just tap away my numerous mistakes, this really helped the axienty I had alwasy felt toward drawing.
As practice I started to draw things that I liked, I chose vegetables as my subjects, and it organically became a series. I hope to continue this project, I hope that it continues to bring me little joys during my work day!
